Good Morning,

I just have a quick question about the Supervisa program. If this is not in the correct forum, please let me know. I sponsored my mother in law and father in law through this category, and everything is set. They will arrive in mid-June. The issue is that now (digging deeper) I'm certain they are here to cause trouble for myself. My wife and I have an up and down relationship. She said that her behaivour is because she misses her parents after not meeting them for nearly 10 years (possible) she was a daddies girl.

But now I'm having second thoughts about them. My wife is on disability, does not work or want to work. Instead, she has brought them here and will get them to work on cash money at one of these small stores in Brampton which was not mentioned to me. Technically, my wife who is milking disability should be the one working, instead of sending two senior citizens to work but hey thats just me.

So, is there anyway to reverse or take back the sponsorship if worst comes to worst.

If you cosigned the supervisa app because your wife's income didnt meet LICO, you could write a letter to CIC revoking your financial support. It's possible that CIC might take action but then it's just as possible that they won't do anything.

Or just report them for illegally working.

When we applied our income was sufficient and was told by my wife that she would continue working. However, within a month of the application she secretly applied for disability. Meaning I was made a fool but thats my fault for being suckered. But now I got to look ahead.
