Hello everyone,

I am sponsoring my mom for PR (already sent the application and everything) however, I REALLY want to come to Canada soon, can I let her apply for supervisa while her PR is being processed? And also, can she stay under implied status through the super visa until she gets her PR or stay for two years and leave Canada for 3 months and go back etc??

I am a bit confused, sorry for the multiple questions.

Thanks in advance!

Yes - you can certainly apply for a super visa while PR is in process. No - she won't have implied status and there's no guarantee she will be able to remain in Canada until PR is ready. It also won't necessarily be possible to stay in Canada for two years, leave for thee months and then re-enter again for two years. Whether she is allowed in and for how long will be up to the officer she encounters at the border. After staying for 2 years, she should likely remain outside of Canada for 8 months before attempting to re-enter.
