My parents are landed in Canada on the 15th Feb 2023. As per new super visa rule they can stay here for #/straight 5 years in single entry but still on Toronto airport immigration officer wrote one year of return date. So in this situation how can I keep my parents here with me beyond that return date. Kindly please suggest, one solution is to get US visa and cross border and come again but right now there is no slots available for 2023.

Apply to extend their stay in Canada: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/extend-stay.html

If there are any concerns their stay can always be limited. Was there a PG-1 code on their TRV?
