My mother in law came on super visa but her passport expiring on May.2015 so she have visa up to that date. Wewant to renew the passport so we can extend the visa. We went to sri Lanka high commission they said that they cant accept the visa given at the airport. It is just a seal from Canada border services wrote that the visa will be valid until passport expires. Now we r confused what to do. Inasked mynfriend he said the same seal on her mom passport from canada border services.Please help.

So, are you trying to renew the passport from the SL high commission in Ottawa? That's weird that they wont accept the renewal application since she's already here. Maybe because super visa is still a visitor visa, they will not process renewals for temp. visas here?
