Supervisa or visa? Insurance question

Ideally would like to invite mom for 6months or more, but might end up being 3 months. Debating if just visitor's visa would be worth it. Anyone in the same boat?

Also, if I do go for supervisa, how does the insurance work? Do I have to pay for the year of insurance even if she stays less than a year? Is it tied with duration of stay? If you guys have any insurance companies in mind, please let me know thanks.

I would suggest TRV instead, if they are staying less than 6 months. You may need to pay for the whole year insurance and may get refunded for the unused months after they leave. Just google it there are a lot of companies available online. For Supervisa you will need to get through medical and stuff, not worth it if they are not staying for over 6 months.
