Hi everyone,
I am confused about something as one my friends has done this that I find strange...
Applying for SV for the first time does require the Insurance coverage.
The SV has been issued for about 4 years, the length of stay is typically set by the officer on the supervisa.
If on susequent visits, the parents do not have insurance coverage, how does that effect the case? currently he has the Parents Sponsorship case in the process. Does this effect the sponsorship case in anyway?
My friend mentioned that he spoke to CIC agents and they said that it is good and recommended to have but not necessary for subsequent travels.
So he did not get insurance for his parents for the next few visits and the parents were allowed entry without question.
Does this makes sense?
Thanks
