Supervisa from within Canada

I need advise on this: If my parents come to Canda on their ME visitor visa, is it possible that we can request for a supervisa from within Canada. I noticed that on the extension of stay checklist, there is a document list for Supervisa.

Anybody has experience with this?

We've had quite a few of our insurance clients that were doing super visa for their parents from within Canada. They had to fulfill the same requirements, such as insurance for one year and so on. There was one refusal, I believe so far.
