SuperVisa for Parents

Hello Fellow members. Hope all is well qith you and family in these COVID times.

I have a question. My mother in law had a SuperVisa and it expired May 2020 (her passport validity was till May 2020).

She got her new passport early this year and Now we are planning to apply again for her. For purpose of travel in the form, there is an option for SuperVisa, which we usually use.

But in CIC website, ita mention to use OTHER as purpose and in description mention covid-19, so they can prioritize the application.

Question is have anyone applied for visa with information ? What kind 9f Visa is granted ? Supervisa or simple visitor visa ?

Any inputs are appreciated.

She can apply for an extension but must return to her home country to apply for a new supervisa.
