Hi Everyone,

Need your advise regarding Supervisa. My parents are already having a visitor visa(6months) and have applied for a Supervisa in November 2020. They got the BIL the next day, but since VACs are not processing applications for TRVs, nothing is moving further. My parents will be coming to Canada on their existing visitor visa in Feb/Mar to help in taking care of my newborn.
I am quite confused regarding the application status, how to proceed now, since Biometrics are pending still.
I checked with IRCC but nothing fruitful in the response, it's just the standard mail response to Covid delays. On the official website it says, if you are in Canada, then as a temporary measure you are exempted from Biometrics for TRVs.
-Is there any provision that accommodates the biometrics to be provided in ServiceCanada centers, so as their application moves further.
-Do we need to inform IRCC about change in application for Current country. Since they will be in Canada now, should their application for Supervisa be modified for "Current country of residence: Canada" Instead of "Current country of residence:India".
-If the biometrics are not needed while in Canada, can they still give the medical for Supervisa application in Canada.
-Incase they are granted Supervisa while they are still in Canada, do they need to exit the country and return for re-entry through Supervisa Or they can continue with their stay on Supervisa.
