DECEMBER :) :) :) :)
Hello Everyone!

Just a quick question, I applied for my mom's supervisa on April 17, 2017 and they got her application VFS Manila Philippines. A few days after the VFS received her application (April 19, 2017) they sent her an email saying that her application is being processed and they gave her a tracking number. We were expecting an email from them asking for medical but on April 27, 2017 she received these emails from the VFS

Dear Jane Doe,
Visa application, tracking ID XXXXXXXXX – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office. If you have opted personal pick up, you may collect your passport at the Canada Visa Application Center, Manila on 27/04/2017 located at the Mezzanine Floor Eco Plaza Bldg. Chino Roces Ave Ext. Pasong Tamo Ext. Makati City. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email

Dear Jane Doe,
Visa application, tracking ID XXXXXXXXXX – Your processed Canada visa application will be endorsed to courier on 27/04/2017. Metro Manila delivery is approximately 24 to 48 hrs on working days. Provincial delivery in the city is approximately 48 to 72 hours on working days, and approximately 1 week for remote areas. To track the status of the shipment, please visit our website at http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Philippines Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email

Note: The Visa Office checklist includes submitting of original passport

So here are my questions:

1. Is she denied?
2. Do you get a rejection letter through email?
3. She is 51 yrs old, does that mean she's excluded from medical check up??

Response will be greatly appreciated!

The super visa definitely hasn't been approved. You can't get a super visa without a medical.

Either she's been denied - or she was issued a regular visitor visa.

Rejection letter is always issued by Mail with your passport. But don't leave hope it could be an approval as well.

UPDATE:

My mom got the V-1 Visa. We applied on April 17 and her visa was issued on April 25 and is valid until October 2021.

-What are the standard questions the immigration officer will ask of her when she enters Canada?
-How long will she be allowed to stay in Canada?

Any and all advice will be very helpful!

Purpose of visit, how long she'll stay, who she's staying with, her address in Canada. Unlikely but maybe: how much funds she has.

6 months initially unless there is a date stamped in her passport, then you can apply for an extension for her for another 6 months.
