Thought I had gone through all the issues but yet another issue as risen.
Mother in law's passport has a different spelling in her first name as opposed to the spelling of her name in my wife's birth certificate.
As everything was in the local language, we decided that everything be translated to the name in the passport.
For example, passport spelling is MALEEKA - wife's birth certificate spelling is MALIKA. So 1 letter changed + additional letter. All translated documents will have passport spelling.
Only concern is if I have to show relation between them, the birth certificate is one document. Will there be a major issue even after I send in explanation letter? I can show official government issues family tree with passport spelling instead of BC though, will they ask for BC if that's not accepted? I hope not... Please need your help.
