Supervisa application dropoff at Bangalore

Maybe someone who has submitted documents at Bangalore can help me.

I've sent the application package for my in-laws to them who are now on Cochin, India. My question is, is it necessary for both my in-laws to go to Bangalore to submit the package at VFS Office? Can't my father-in-law go alone and submit the papers? Will there be an interview at the time of submission?

Any insight would be highly appreciated.

If I am not mistaken, one of the applicants (or a representative) is allowed to submit visa applications (for even another applicant), in person, at the VFS office, between 9am-12 noon.

After 12 noon-4pm, all applicants are required to be physically present to submit their individual visa applications.

You can call VFS on their toll-free number to reconfirm this.

VFS only collects/verifies that documents are correctly submitted. No interviews are held at the time of submission.

One other point:
Unlike VFS offices which handle visa applications for other countries, you do not have to pre-book an appointment to submit visa applications at the VFS office which handles Canada visas applications
