Supervisa Application Cancelled

My moms supervisa application was submitted Dec 20th but today it says final decision: cancelled. Had anyone had this experience? What could the reasons be to cancel it?

Maybe it was cancelled due to an administrative or a technical issue.

Do wait for a week or so to see if the update changes and/or you get an email from the visa office. In case you don't receive any communication, you can email the visa office

Ok, I’ll wait and if no message I guess will try to send an email and call on the 26. Although getting through is very hard..

Probably closed on the 26th. It’s a Canadian holiday. 27th is a better choice.

I received an email from cic!! They asked for my mom’s passport!! We are very happy! And it still appears as application cancelled it has not being updated yet!
