Anybody..please help me.

I'm currently in canada on a multiple entry tourist visa. my six months permit will end on may 17, 2015. my son's application for parent sponsorship was received by CPC mississauga jan 13 and not yet sure if it will be included in the cap. i want to stay longer here in canada with my son. Can I apply for Super visa here in canada?

I can't find any answer on the CIC website but I am sure that if you phone the CIC toll free number they will be able to answer your question. I have always found them to be most helpful. A bit of a wait to get through to someone but they do help.

to stay longer in canada with your son you can apply for "extension to stay in canada". this is how extension to stay in canada works:-

Extend your stay in canada as a visitor:
At least 30 days before may 17, 2015 you can submit an application for extension to stay in canada. you can choose to apply online (faster processing) or submit a paper application. you can request to extend your stay for period up to 1 year (that is from may 17, 2015 to may 17, 2016). the extended period allowed depends on the Visa officer (generally first time extensions are approved for 6 months). if approved for 6 months you can again extend your stay by repeating the process before your approved extension expires.
Extensions are rarely denied if you have a family here in canada and you want to spend more time with them.

thank you for the information. my thinking before is that i can only apply for an extension once.
