Super visa waiting since 6months

i am a permanent resident of canada.
My mother and father applied for super visa from india since 12june,2017.
And its been more than six months now but tracking still shows that its in process.
I tried calling vfs and sended some email but got no exact answer on this. My parents submitted their passports at the time of application submittion.
If, please someone can help, that will be much appreciated.

It is pointless to check the processing status on the VFS website.

You can:
1. Link their paper applications to their online MyCIC accounts to get more precise updates

2. Do send a IRCC web form/Case Specific Enquiry + email to the relevant visa office to request for an expedited decision and/or status update
