super visa validity

Hi,
My mother in law has been granted Canadian super visa in Pakistan and will be visiting us soon in Toronto.

Her passport was valid till 2023 but super visa validity is just for 4 years. Any reason for this as from what I have read super visa is valid for 10 years or until the passport expiry date.

CIC says it is valid for up to 10 years not that it is valid for 10 years. Who knows why they do what they do.

Another question that I have :

My mother in law will arrive in toronto on the 31st o july.

She is not very fluent in english hence I intend to write a letter explaining her purpose of vsit and my contact details for her to share with the immigration officer.

Is there anything else that she needs to carry with her?

No she should be good also they have people who speak most languages at the airport. They tend to keep the questions simple.
