Recently I applied for Super Visa thinking that it will be issued for 10 years as the condition highlighted in guide lines ware that the Passport should be valid for at least 6 months (i.e. before expiry). But I was shocked that the Super Visa stamped under PG category was valid only up to the date of expiry of my current Passport i.e. it was issued for 8 months only.
Now my question is if I don't use this visa and in the mean time if I get my Passport renewed , can I get this visa transferred on my new Passport and that too for 10 years? Or all again I am to apply afresh and going through the medicals and all that process?
Can any one reply please.

1. You would require a new application for a TRV with the new passport.
