Super visa PPR received but parent currently visiting Canada on a regular TRV

My mom’s super visa just got approved and she received a passport request. However, she is currently visiting us in Canada on her regular tourist visa. She was in her home country of residence when the application was submitted. I filled a web form to notify IRCC but no response yet. Anyone faced this same situation or similar? Can she submit to a VAC in the US instead? She has a US tourist visa.

This is why it is important to update your address. Should be able to submit it in Canada but it may take a month to hear back from IRCC. She will need to leave Canada to initiate the supervisa. For example after returning home and reestablishing ties she can use the supervisa on her next visit. If she has already been visiting Canada she should avoid going to the US border and trying to reenter. She risks being denied entry.
