Hola everyone,
Me and my Mom is presently in Canada. She came on a Visiting Visa and I came on PR. I am a new PR, and mom got her visiting visa before I got my PR.
Now, I would like to apply for an extension. I was wondering, is it better if I apply for 6 months extension or 2 years extension. This is my financial status.
- Have about 50, 000 Canadian Dollars in my bank account in Canada.
- I have got a new job, which is a contract for 6 months for now. The annual salary(not 6 months) for this job is about 31k. At present the job letter shows that it is a contract for 6 months.
Would this be enough to apply for a 2 years super visa extension? Or should I play it safe and apply for 6 months extension. What are the chances of getting extension? Are they strict with the super visa or extending visiting visa?
Please let me know if there is any additional document I can submit to help with my application.
