Hello everyone!

I'm currently putting together the application for my mum's super visa. I've just written an invitation letter for her, signed by both myself and my husband and included evidence of our legal status in Canada. I have read on various sources that the invitation letter would need to be notarized, but I am not sure about that. Can anyone confirm that I would need to have the invitation letter notarized, or is that not necessary?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

Whether the Invitation Letter should be notarized or not depends on the visa office/country where your mom is applying from. You can check with the CVAC for this.

For a Super Visa application, it is necessary for you to provide a written and signed promise of financial support for the entire duration of her visit

All the best :)
