SUPER VISA - MEDICAL REQUEST

Hello everyone,

My parent have applied for Super Visa on June 10th,2014 and today my dad has received an email requesting a medical exam ( for him only ) so I am confused why didn't they send for both of them together ? Is that normal or is it possible that they don't request a medical for my mum ?

My dad is 60 years old, i didn't mention any medical condition in the application .. Only when we bought the medical insurance we mentioned that he has diabetes and blood pressure. Is it possible that they don't request medical for my mum ?

Yes, they will not ask for medical examination for your mother! If they wanted then they would have asked it together. They have their standard processes and ways. So do not worry for your mother.

Can a notary public in India translate documents in Hindi to English with their notary stamp? My parents have some documents in hindi which they want to submit with their application.

Thanks for your reply but isn't the medical examination is a requirement for the Super Visa ? I thought they have to do it for any person who's allowed to stay more than 6 months in the country ?

As it is stated on CIC website, Immigration Medical Exam is a must for Super Visa applicants. But in reality it might be not that strict since these guys would have sent the request for your mother to do the medical too.

A medical is mandatory to get a super visa. Without a medical, the most you can get is a regular visitor visa.
