I'm planning to apply for super visa for my parents. I have following questions:
  1. I have asked my parents to show proof of funds back home. But I read some where its better to give asset evaluation certificate for applicants. I can get that from my dad's accountant but is there any format or template for that. Such as what kind of information needs to be included in the asset evaluation certificate
  2. On top of the proof of funds they are showing in liquid cash we are planning to show here too. Currently its in my wife's HISA(savings account) for tax reasons will that work or it should be a joint account.
  3. Should I attach air ticket as well for iteniary or just give them travel dates on a word document

1.&2. The most important proof of funds for SV is you meeting LICO for the number of people in your family. Then it is personal bank accounts that show cash in the bank, not business accounts.
3. Don’t buy tickets.

If for tax reasons is this in a TFSA? If so it should preferably be easily accessible cash savings in addition to other savings

Its in plain personal savings account but in my wife's account but cash can be withdrawn anytime. When we are showing proof of funds will that work or the account should be joint or in my name.

Do you meet LICO for the number of people in your family? You show NOA.

Yes I meet LICO for 5 person family before tax income more than $53323. But my question is related to proof of funds based on account statement:
1. Funds shown back home approx close to $18500 CAD equivalent in parents
2. Showing approx $20000 here in CAD --> this one balance I currently have in my wife's savings account. Proof of funds I'm trying to show here in Canada can that be in my wife's account or it should be under my name
Please advise

It can be in either but if it is a regular savings account not sure how this is beneficial tax wise.
