Hello All.

I am based in Toronto and I am looking to apply for the supervisa for my mother who is in Karachi Pakistan.I have heard that one of the requirements is that she should have strong ties to home country..She is 65,,she has no other children except me ,lives alone..has property and club membership in her name ..Will that be sufficient to prove strong ties ??

Please advise..

Regards,
Adil

You never know until you try. If she didn't get it, try to get GCMS notes. Read the notes and identify any additional document and then reapply.

Hi Adil,
Property documents are a good proof for showing ties. Also attach bank statements and her life insurance policies copies from home country

Add a letter to explain the ties with the country. Write in that letter if she has spouse, property, siblings of your mother, home and culture etc. One of the reasons can be that she has no intention of settling in Canada, because she has spent most of her life in Pakistan and feel more comfortable living there. She has her siblings and friends around etc.

You can also attach any pension recipts, or any other source of income they have from the country. I hope it helps.

Having ties to her country of origin is not a requirement but it is one of the main reasons why a super visa can be rejected. The visa officer makes a decision based on a variety of factors that they take into account. Writing a letter by itself is not enough you will need to produce actual documents such deeds to property, relatives in country of origin etc... This is why people hire professionals to assist them with this process. I suggest you contact the law firm hosting this site, I had clients who used their services and were very happy.

If you need insurance to submit with your super visa application I can assist you.
