Hello Everyone,
I have a question that hope anyone with previous experience would help.
My mother came here on super visa (10 year multiple) back in 2013-06, the officer at POE stamped for 2 years for her. But she only stayed for 6 month before headed back home. Now she came to visit again this month. Only soon we found out that her authorized stay is still valid which is till 2015-06. So the POE officer would only stamp the same date which is 2015-06 and she has to leave on that date.
So I would like to know my options here instead having my mother fly back home and come to Canada again.
Would super visa extension or renewal, whichever you call it, grant regular 6 months or there is a chance for 2 years?
I read across an article here, saying renewal in Canada with all meds exam done. (Sorry, I could not post a link) Would this be my case? If I go through med exam, NOA, Med Insurance and all the docs for as I was applying the super visa, is there a chance for me to get 2 years extension?
Any thought or previous experience?
Much appreciated for your answer and ideas.
