Super Visa - Can I invite my parents while switching jobs?

I am currently working in an office where I have been working for almost five years. I am completing the application for my parents' supervisa. I meet the LICO and can provide my recent paystubs and T4s. I am planning to move to another city around the same time that they will likely get the visa. Will the visa officers be checking that I have moved to a different city? Of course, I don't think I will stay out of employment for long but I am just worried that what if they call up my office and by that time I am gone? Will they consider my proof of income invalid?

Your parents' super visas depends on your ability to financially support their long stay of up to two years. You need to submit as many evidence possible for this: Your employment letter, NOA, bank statements, financial investments, etc.

IRCC may/may contact your employer. It might seem like misrepresentation if you're no longer employed + IRCC would have concerns whether or not you can meet LICO in the future.

Also, you are expected to inform IRCC about any changes in your employment through the IRCC web form (again, because your parents' super visas hinge on your income threshold)

Thank you Bryanna! SO helpful! That's good to know about the online form, I think it's a safe way to go then. In case I do switch employment while my parents' visa is being processed I can always update them. Do I need to state something like that in my letter of invitation, that I may be relocating to another office? Or better not mention it until it actually happen?

If you already have another job offer then do include both letters (current and next employment) when your parents apply
