Hello Everyone

My mom's super visa was approved yesterday finally after being denied twice!!! I was so happy! and then I look at the passport and it expires in two years! My question is would it be ok to get a new passport before we send it to get stamped? or is that not allowed because the one in file is the old one? We have 30 days to provide them with the passport.

I hope you guys could help me! We fought so hard for this visa we don't want to mess it up, but also I don't want to go through the same struggle in two years.

Thanks!

She can submit a new passport but regardless of the validity, there is no guarantee of getting a supervisa valid to expiry. Visas are often issued for shorter amounts of time.

In my MIL's case, passport was expiring in 9 years and they just gave her 4 years super visa.
