I am currently a permanent resident in Canada. My father came to visit me last March on a multi-entry visitor visa (which is valid until 2019). He extended his visa in Canada last September so that he could stay in Canada until Mar. 30. 2014. He will go back to China, by the end of this month.
I plan to invite my dad to visit me again in Canada this summer (in late June or early July) and stay here until the end of this year. I wonder whether he can come again on his multi-entry visitor visa or he has to apply for a super visa (because he has already stayed in Canada for about one year since March 2013).
My father had a medical exam in Canada last August for his visa extension. In case he needs to apply for a super visa to come to Canada this summer, I wonder whether this medical exam is still valid or he needs to have another medical exam.
Finally, as my father is currently in Canada, it will be more convenient if he could apply for a super visa in Canada. Is this possible (I see there is an online application option, but I am not sure whether this is feasible for super visa )? Or he has to do that in China?
