Super visa and pause in immigration for parents and grandparents

I believe that Super Visa was introduce on a temporary basis, to address the backlog of immigrant visas, and this program was supposed to end Nov 2013. Has the family class immigration visas reinstated, and super visa discontinued?

Family class immigration program will be reinstated with new rules effective January 2, 2014. There are no plans to discontinue the super visa.

Would that include sponsorship of parents?

Yes, but it will be more difficult to sponsor and the numbers will be severely capped.
