Super visa 2022

We want to apply for my parents super visa...do they check their background?...few years ago they used to do business in partnership( business was officially on my mother name only). But their partner did some frauds and ran away. At that time in fear my mother father left the city and move to another city without clearing bank dues. (I know this is wrong they should have cleared those dues since it must have affected many people we dont even know).
My question is if i apply for their visa, do they check their background, will they come to know about this and reject visa? Its been almost 10 to 15 back .

Have a look at the online checklists, i was searching and i didnt see a police certificate on there.

• go to an interview with our officials in your country
• to send more information
• get a medical exam
• get a police certificate

They can ask for a police check at any time during the process. A background check will be completed at some point in the process with or without a police certificate.
