Presently iam working as a "UNIX & Assistant Database Administrator" since 6yrs in the Middle-east and would like to file for immigration but bit confused with NOC ID. Can any one help me to lodge my file smoothly with hand's on details.......

Main duties

•Operate database management systems to analyze data and perform data mining analysis.

Data administrators perform some or all of the following duties:
•Develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models
•Research and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, data access rules and security
•Develop policies and procedures for network and/or internet database access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data
•Conduct research and provide advice to other information systems professionals regarding the collection, availability, security and suitability of data
•Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers
•May lead and co-ordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards and models.
Employment requirements
•A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science or in mathematics
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
•Computer programming experience is usually required.

This NOC 2172 Skilled fall under Skilled level-A , So i can apply for Immigration without any problem or any other suggestion.

One of our forum collegue confused me check his below forum reply............


Only the numbers what u see in NOC list is only eligible. 2172 is not there in the list if you have noted.

I am sorry but you can not apply under NOC 2172 under existing rules for FSW -1.

Only computer occupation that is eligible under current rules is 0213

Ankit is right as per new Ministerial Instructions (starting FEB 2008) you have to apply for only 38 listed NOCs

i think you can apply under 0213 ( IT Manager) , if this suits you - but make sure of duties & responsibilities as Visa Office my refuse your application due to lack of claimed experience

If i applied as a 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers.

What doc's need to be submitted as per Immigration rules.

#Immigration officer require which doc's for reference of above Job title.
#Pay slip or bank statement no problem
#Job Agreement / Experience certificate etc required or not

Highlight above issue with hand's on experience .........
