hi,

i am currently studying in canada n vl be completing my studies in april 2013 and later
i vl be applying for work permit.

i want suggestion from all who have good knowledge abt processing.. My boyfrnd whom i am getting married to this august, did apply for student visa three times and got rejected...after refusual he is in IT field working on a project in saudi from 1yr. As we are getting martied this year i just want to knw is it is a best option
1) To applt for dependent visa (or)
2) To go for a open work permit as he has a job oppurtunity from canadian employer.

we are confused to choose which path, we are worried if his dtudent visa refusual would impact his application either in spouse visa or work permit.

wht to do can any body suggest...this vl be a great help to us.

Please leave all ur suggestions..

Thank you

1. When you are married, he could apply for a TRV as visitor to visit his spouse, but with 3 refusals as student, I don't think that there is much chance that it will be issued.
2. To get a work permit in Canada, his prospective employer must apply for a Labour Market Opinion from HRSDC after advertising the position on the job bank for 2 weeks and demonstrate that there are no Canadians/PRs available for the job.
