Like all the other people who've gone through the Buffalo to CPP-O transition, I've been waiting almost a year and half on my application for Spouse/USA to Quebec. I got a notice right before Christmas to get my medicals done again (gee, thanks) and decided to email Ottowa on Jan 29 to ensure they received the new medical results.
What's the response to my email? "Under the Privacy Act, this office is not authorized to communicate any details....without authorized and expressed consent of the client concerned. We do not currently have an authorization on file to provide any information regarding this file to this email address...." EXCUSE ME?! I was annoyed since it's the only email address I've given them, the same on my IMM008, and I emailed them in August and received a reply back then, no issues. I referenced the case officer back to my IMM008 as well as forward them their previous response to me at that same address. Call me irritated since it takes a week for them to reply to anything.
Now what has me worried.....I just went to log in at CIC and the website doesn't recognize my log in info!
I tried the UCI number, with and without the dash, and the case file number (F0000xxxxx). Nothing! Happening right on the heels of the "we don't know you" email response, this feels like a bad, bad omen.
Anyone else experience something similar?

Dec 9 2011: CIC approves wife as sponsor
Dec 14 2011: Quebec receives request to sponsor
Jan 18 2012: Quebec approves wife as sponsor
Feb 1 2012: Buffalo completes initial PR review, requests police cert and court docs
Aug 9 2012: Medicals expire
Dec 14 2012: CPP-O requests new medical
Feb 6 2013: "We're sorry, who are you exactly?"
