I'm currently in Mexico but applied as an Italian for a Working Holiday Visa. I submitted my application succesfully and today I just went to a VAC in Mexico City to do biometric enrollment. I am confused now on what's next. I have recieved a eICR email today right after I got my biometrics taken. Is passport submission mandatory for a Working Holiday Visa? I haven't heard of it at all until I went to the VAC today and they told us we'll have to submit the passport there. I'm not sure if I should leave my passport with a friend here so they can go and submit it on my behalf because I live very far and I don't trust mexican couriers (even good ones like DHL) to handle my Italian passport from rural Southern Mexico all the way to Mexico City and back.
