Submitting onine application

I made the online fee payment for my visior visa application and the payment site confirmed the transaction as well. But when I login to CIC, my application is still showing as though its not submitted and it is not listed under the submitted applicaiton section.

Has anybody experienced the same thing while applying onine? if yes then did you do any other steps after making the payment?

I have dropped a mail to question@cic.gc.ca explaining my case and waiting to hear back but I thought I'll check if this is a common issue.

oh ok, so you are saying my application was submitted because the fee payment was successful? and I will see submitted status in a few days?

My issue is resolved! Here is what I did:

I initially made a payment for visitor visa on May 28th and my application was supposed to be automatically submitted to CIC but somehow it did not, so I called on the no *67 613-944-4000, from my US mobile phone and got conencted to an agent after dialing some more options. I explained my situation and they mentioned that its a rare scenario but it can happen and suggested me to delete my application and create a new one and they also sent me an email on how I can request for a refund of my previous application.

Today May 29th, I followed all steps they mentioned and 2nd time after fee payment, I received a confirmation in about 10-15 mins that my application has been submitted.

I got the # *67 613-944-4000 from this forum itself, so the *67 is required to mask your US # otherwise without that the system will give you a message that you are not in the covereage area blah blah..
