Hi, my partner is wanting to apply for a student visa to study in Canada from England. I know immigration want to see evidence of funds for tuition fees plus living cost of 10,000 cad but is it 1 year's worth they want to see or 3 times that (whole duration of the course). We can afford the course on ongoing expenses as we have a steady income from her business and he is hoping to some some part time work whilbut don't have 3 years worth of funds just sitting there.
I am finding conflicting information online.

Thanks

For the 1st year, He should show that he has enough fund in his hands with some evidences such as bank account, 1st year payment receipt, loan, property .. etc.

For the next two years, he can use a certificate proving he will have a fix income every month/year to maintain his study and living.

Never mention that he will seek a part time job.
