Hi, I have applied for spousal sponsorship for my wife along with dependent child in May 2018. In February 2020 we received PFL and we submitted our reply in March 2020. Till now we have not received anything from IRCC. We ordered GCMNOTES in which last update was on March 2020 regarding receiving our PFL response. We also inquired through our MP and they said our application is still in process. My question is how much time they will take to finelize case after PFL response and should I remain hopeful regarding my family sponsorship case approval. Almost 29 months have passed. I am mentally upset....

Unfortunately it's difficult to say due to COVID-19. PFLs always mean your process is going to take longer and it's normal (even pre-COVID) to wait many months after the PFL response is submitted to hear an answer.
It's really impossible for any of us to say what your chances of approval are. This depends on why you received the PFL and how you responsed to that PFL.
How recently did you request GCMS notes? Maybe it would be a good idea to order them again.
