Submitted Application for PR for my spouse on 03/22/10 (spouse is Colombian)

Hi, I am sponsoring my spouse to be a permanent resident of Canada. She is colombian and it will end up at the Bogota Visa office for processing. They actually signed for the package at CIC Missisauga on the 22nd of March. We are aware the process can take anywhere from 10-17 months, and that this office (Bogota) is notorius for being slow. Is anyone else in here going through the same process and can anyone share their stories, advice with us please?
