Submit passport

Hi, I'm wondering instead of mailing the passport to the consulate office, may I (or a friend) submit it in person? Stamping the visa takes tooooo long nowadays, and hopefully submitting in person may be faster. Did anyone have any idea or experience on this?

Hey, as far as I know, you can only mail the passport to them now. Before we could go in person if submitting it at an Embassy oustide Canada. Within Canada, it's mail only. Please make sure to include a prepaid xpresspost envelope.

I'm submitting to LA office in USA. So mailing is the only option now, right?

Yes, I believe so. However, I would confirm it by posting the same question on the "LA Passport Turn Around Time" thread in this section. Everybody on the thread is dealing with LA consulate so they will be able to better assist you.
