Submission of PR fee to CIC without medicals ?

Dear Seniors,

If i and my wife decide to put the medical request on hold by requesting CHC due to my wife's pregnancy, can we do the below:

1. Send the requested PR fee of me and my wife with the requested PCC docs, or wait for the medicals to finish ?
