Submission of Application by 10th April

Dear All,

As per CIC , applications received after 10th April need to have to submit IELTS results along with application.

Please let me know if i courier my application by 2nd April , it may reach Canada by 07th April in CIC-Sydney office. Will my application be considered to be received prior to 10th April ? or will they consider the date when appliction is open to review / evaluation ?

Do they send any confirmation upon receiving the application ?

Please advice.

Once they open your packet to put it in their records, that is when they record the date of receiving. No they do not send any confirmation but will intimate you if your application is approved or regarding their decision.

so it means that if they receive the file / doc on 07th April , they would file it the same date ??? and my application will be considered to be received before 10th April ??

Yes, it would. You would not know the date received until you receive their response (about 2 months), so it's better to send it with a courier who has tracking.

But just because you beat the date, it does not mean that they will not require the IELTS.
