Hi everyone,

I'm filling out the IMM 5257 form and I'm a bit confused about the travel history section. The question asks:

"Since the age of 18 or during the past five years, whichever is more recent, have you travelled to any country or territory other than the country of your citizenship or your current country or territory of residence?" Yes/No
My situation is: I travelled in the year 2017, and I haven't travelled internationally since then.

Given that the question mentions "during the past five years," which would be roughly 2020 to 2025 right now (since it's April 2025), do I still need to include my travel from 2017?

My age is [40], so I have been over 18 for more than five years.

What would be the correct answer for my case? Should I select "Yes" and then provide details of my 2017 trip, or would "No" be appropriate since it falls outside the recent five-year window?

Any advice or similar experiences shared would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
