Hi All,

First and foremost, I would like to thank all the members who have been helpful to me.
I know this is little too forward thinking but I would like to plan for my canada move NOW rather than at later stages.... 8) 8)
I think this would be helpful to all my fellow immigrants who are also planning and are in a similar stage as me.

Little background about myself
I'm an IT professional(Datawarehousing) with 8+ years of exp, my wife is also into IT with 7+ years, we are blessed with baby boy, he is now 1year.

Questions 8) 8) 8) 8)

1) How hard is it to get a job in Canada from India for an IT professional?
2) What is the best province to get a job in IT? ( I have opted for Calgary, Alberta considering they would provide health insurance from day 1 ) but willing to change if I can find job in any other province
3) Things to consider like vaccinations for my kid?
4) What is the amount of money should I bring with me, my plan is to retain money as much as possible in India for my family when they come to Canada in 5-6 months after I move.
I basically need to know what is the living expenditure in Calgary, AB per single person?
5) I have a US driving license which will be expired by the time I move, Does it help in me getting a provincial license?
6) Any other stuff I need to plan in advance before I move?

Thanks in advance and please feel free to add anything to this
