Studying in Canada

Hi!

Currently my wife is sponsoring me and our application has been received. Her application has been approved and now my PR application is in the London office. My question is I want to study in Canada, well it will be a correspondence course with SAIT. Will I be able to due to my present status??

At the university that I studying with online, there is no requirements for visas if you are an international student studying in your home country. But, if I understand correctly, you need a study visa is you plan to take the distant education course while in Canada. I'd double check with SAIT to verify.

Yep plan is to take it while in Canada. Although I do not have my PR I dont want to register as a International student because it costs so much.

So, as long as you don't have PR, then you're a international student. So if I were you, I would just wait until you get it and THEN apply. Processing in London is quicker than most, so you could get the Canadian rate soon enough.
