Studying in Canada

Please after I receivd details about my biometrics on my online status, I haven't heard from the embassy till now, I did my biometrics on the 10th of June I was expecting they should have asked me to bring my passport by now, the school which I applied for would be starting 1st September, I don't know what to do.if the school resumes, will my application still be in progress or they would cancel it because the school started? I want to know please if resumption of school can stop my Visa processing. I would appreciate it you guys help and advise me. I also want to know why the delay this period

Keep waiting, it will come through. In the same both submitted app on 22nd June, Biometrics 25th June, till date yet to get feedback ...status still reads submitted and all the other msgs that says you do not need this and that. Also as advised by my Canadian supervisor at work, long delays often mean positive results. So as I have been advised, I would also advise you continue to prep cos it may just come at the last minute. However, you need to notify your school. I did same and I have until 20th of Sept to report to school, applied for a masters programme...how about you?

Because of the holidays, I would write the school on tuesday, according to you, you said that you where given till 20th September, what if that time comes and nothing happens what will be the next thing, am asking because I would be writting my school tomorrow

I will certainly advise keeping an open line of communication with your school, updating them at every step of the way. The school will let you know what is obtainable in terms of how long you can extend your registration/resumption date. Its often not advised to keep silent, so you don't receive a letter from the school asking you to cancel your registration. All schools have their policies and different timelines so better to communicate with your school.
