Studying abroad, what address to use for pending citizenship application

Hi there!

I've received AOR for my pending citizenship application at the beginning of this year. I now intend to leave the country to study abroad and I'm wondering what to do about updating CIC with my address.

My PR will expire mid next year, and I intend to mail my application to renew it before leaving Canada.
The PR application requires an address. Is using my friend address for the application, and updating CIC with the same address the correct way to handle this?
Or are they looking for the address where I physically reside?

I'm worried that using my friend's address would be lying as to my whereabouts.

Your friend address should be fine. I dont think there will be a issue
