study while on a work permit

Hi all,

I have a post grad. work permit which is valid for another 2 years; I want to take a part time course which will take 4 months to complete. So, could anyone please tell me if I am allowed to take the course while on a work permit. If i am allowed, would i need a study permit alongside my work permit or not?

Part time course, less than 6 months, you don't require a study permit.

I just found out that it is a vocational certificate course, and on the work permit it says not allowed to take a vocation course authorized. Do i need to sell some special permission or a study permit if i wasn't too take the course?
