Hi All,

Please advise!!

I am planning to take admission into two years advanced diploma course "Mobile Solution Development" in Conestoga college for May'17 intake in Kitchener.

My previous background is MCA(Software Engineering) from Sikkim Manipal University(Distance) with 62% and also two years Advanced diploma from NIIT(ANIIT) with 75%. I also have one year of working experience as Software Engineer and presently working. And I am applying under general category this time as I had study visa refusal back in 2013. Please note I am not disclosing my bachelor degree to Visa officer as my graduation degree is not relevant to the course I am applying because It was B.com Pass.

I have scored IELTS overall 7 with no band less than 6 and have paid my GIC and one semester fees. Also showing my personal and parental assets.

So what you guys think about my profile now. Is this will satisfy visa officer and what you guys think about my chances this time.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Many thanks

So with respect you are not disclosing a degree so potentially misrepresenting yourself in your application by holding back information to get a study permit ? What will you plan to do later on should you try for PR mysteriously declare this degree that you plan now not to declare and say you forgot ? Hiding information from CIC deliberately never really a good idea as can always come back sometime in the future.

I agree with BS65. You should disclose everything. You've done M.CA and advanced diploma previously. Again going for a diploma now in a College that will raise a question into visa officer's mind. You would have to mention your reason in SOP. It's all up to visa officer.
