My study visa has been approved for Canada. Please tell me when should i travel as i heard we can't travel too early.

You can travel whenever you want, provided that you have the money to sustain yourself in Canada as you cannot work before your classes start. If you are not staying with friends or relatives then it would be advisable to leave a week or two early to arrange everything before your classes start and to attend orientation.
Then if you are able to prove your finances for whatever duration you are traveling for then you could go tomorrow itself. There is no such rule saying that you cannot go before a certain period of time. If you can get a statement or letter from your parents stating that you are going to be living with them then it should serve as proof. Ultimately it's up to the border agent and how you are able to explain to him the reason for your early entry into Canada.
Thanks dear. But i dn't want to take risk so according to you what is the last date i can travel for no issues to immigration officers. Even i receive an email from immigration which states that dn't travel before 3 weeks? I want to travel on 12th of april and my classes will start on 20th may
Immigration will not give any such letter. Can you share this letter? 12th of april is perfectly fine. You can mention you are going to stay with your family. They are only concerned that you don't work in Canada illegally. If you have your family to take care of you then you don't have any need to work illegally.
Canada or Canada border security will not stop you from entering Canada since you have TRV which is actually the visa and study permit which allows you to study. They will only ask for the reason you want to enter earlier than your program start date and if you have the finance. If you answer the two then you can enter Canada.

You should understand the wording given
should not travel to Canada on your student visa more than 3 weeks
They said you should not. They did not say you are not allowed to travel 3 weeks before the start date.
may deny you entry into the country
They said you may deny you. They never said they will refuse entry.
Ultimately many people have gone before 3 weeks and this hard and fast rule has been disproven on this forum. It's up to you, I find it weird that some people have got this letter.
Ok thanks i have one more query. Actually my IELTS gonna expire on 16th of February so is this necessary for me to repeat to enter Canada or not???
@selvakk I guess you're over-analyzing the statement. Immigration statements/letters aren't that enciphered to be too hard to read/make sense of them.
What they really mean to say that, the earliest you can step into Canada is 3 weeks before the start of studies.
And yes, they CAN (if they want to) deny/refuse (synonyms here) if you travel, say, 4 weeks before the start of your education, even though you're admissible by visa.
Always remember, a TRV (visa in your passport) is never a guarantee to step foot into Canada. The CBSA Officials will ask you questions and if only satisfied will give you the permit or else they can refuse your entry or even cancel your visa and send you back home.

What I mean to say is they are not expressly forbidding it. Many people have gone before 3 weeks on this forum after giving the appropriate reasons and financial proof. Also not everyone is getting this letter. I assume this is the VAC sending it and not the embassy.
In any country a visa exemption or a visa is not a Garunteed entry into a country. This is not something that is only applicable in Canada.
What I am saying is that there is proof that people have gone before 3 weeks and have had no issue in the border. This letter seess to be given sporadically and not to everyone. Also this 3 week rule is not written anywhere.

It’s really weird if the letter did come from IRCC. Canada almost always uses a set of standard replies in its correspondence, and the letter in question is not a standard reply by default.
IMO, it’s not over-analyzing. The letter the OP posted seems to come more from agents than IRCC. For one, the letter of introduction, as per IRCC, is needed at POE (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...tudy-canada/study-permit/prepare-arrival.html). Why would IRCC contradict itself?
I myself arrived in Canada five weeks before the start of my program. But CBSA did not ask me why I am coming more than 3 weeks before official start. Service Canada, however, did tell me to not start working before the start of classes and that I can only work for a maximum of 20 hours per week off-campus. CBSA did not ask me where I will stay, nor to present proof that I can support myself. I do have my GIC certificate in hand but the CBSA officer never looked beyond the first page (letter of introduction) of my compiled documents.
