Study trips and address history

Hi all, I have a question about the application for the PR (post invitation).

I am an Italian citizen. During my post-secondary studies I have spent some terms as an exchange student in other European countries. All of these experience were no longer than 5 months. My problem is that I don't know if I should include these periods in the address history or in the travel history.

If I include them in the former, I know I might be asked for the police certificates, and these might be impossible to get given that, because of the agreement among European countries, I didn't have to change my legal residence. In other words, the institutions in the hosting countries wouldn't even know I had lived there.
If I take the second option, I am worried the Canadian officers might think I was trying to trick them somehow.

Is there anyone who could help me with this? Thanks!
