study sponsorship from a businessman!

Hi ..

i just graduated recently with first honor, my GPA is 4.8, and my brother works for a businessman. This businessman can fully sponsor me to study in Canada because my parents cannot afford anything. This businessman is doing this for good reasons, and as a gift for me. i want to apply for short courses and then return to my home country. (plz note that this businessman is ready to share with me and give any necessary document for cic)

my question is will this be enough for getting an approval, is this businessman allowed to sponsor me? should i go ahead and apply? cuz i think i heard that the person who sponsor you should be a family member!

Yes you will have difficulty having a sponsor who is unrelated to you. The fear will be that the person can stop supporting you financially at any time.

i am 100% that he will not stop funding me.
is it impossible or should i gave it a try?
